US President Donald Trump posted footage claiming responsibility for the destruction of the B1 (Azimiyeh) Bridge in Karaj, a major infrastructure project west of Tehran, following US-led airstrikes.

Two U.S. ​warplanes were downed over Iran and the Gulf, Iranian and U.S. officials said on Friday, with two pilots rescued and a third still missing and being hunted ‌by Tehran's forces.

In his address, Mr Trump said the US would hit Iran “extremely hard over the next two to three weeks”, while also insisting American “core strategic objectives are nearing completion”.
