In August, former DOJ employee Sean C. Dunn threw a Subway sandwich at ICE agent Gregory Lairmore while protesting the agency’s activity in the D.C. area. Viral video of the incident shows Dunn deliberately chucking his sandwich at an ICE agent’s chest and then running away from the agents.
Gregory A. Lairmore, a 23-year veteran, said he was not injured but could feel the impact of the sandwich through the ballistic vest.
I could feel it through my ballistic vest,” Lairmore said of the moment of impact. “It kind of exploded all over.”

DC police searching for suspect accused of striking man with glass bottle in Northwest
The Metropolitan Police Department said the suspect approached another man in the 500 block of K Street NW at around 3:45 a.m. on Nov. 4 and asked for money. When the man refused, the suspect allegedly struck them with a glass bottle before fleeing on a bicycle. Medics treated the victim on the scene for minor injuries, police noted.
