Batman is a 1960s American television series, based on the DC comic book character of the same name. It stars Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin, the two crime-fighting heroes who defend Gotham City. It aired on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) network for three seasons from January 12, 1966 to March 14, 1968. The "original" Batmobile refers to the iconic vehicle from the 1966-1968 Batman TV series. It was built by George Barris and his team at Barris Custom City. The car was base
