There Are A Lot of Trees, But This Aint A Forest! We broke the forest, and now it’s time for us to fix it! Most redwood forests today look nothing like they did before logging. They were replanted with too many Douglas-fir trees packed close together, way, way more densely than any Christmas-tree farm. When trees are that crowded, sunlight never reaches the forest floor, wildlife struggles, and the forest is vulnerable to plagues and fires. (Don’t forget to answer the quiz question in the video)
