The Museum’s current exhibition, Making Tracks: Crawlers, Tractors & Snowmobiles, explores the stories behind each of the 24 tracked vehicles on display. Today we'll look at this 1952 International Harvester TD-24 and the attached 1950 Le Tourneau Carryall LS. Introduced in 1947, the TD-24 was promoted as the world’s largest and most powerful crawler. Our curator, Tim Matthews was pumped to bring in our new 1964 Dodge 330, with a Dick Landy built big 426 Hemi! Aluminum nose an altered wheelbase - it doesn’t get any better than this and we are honored to share and preserve it. Landy was very much a man ahead of his time!
